I am having work done on my house or property, who do I need to contact in the HOA about this?
The Timberwoods HOA is only responsible for the management of our common areas. We have no rules or bylaws regarding homeowners’ private property. You do not need special permissions from the HOA for whatever you choose to do on your private property. However, you may need to contact the Village of Gurnee for permits. I am having a party with several cars parked on the street. Who do I need to contact about this? Do I need special permission?
Our HOA does not monitor or regulate your special events. We ask you are considerate of your neighbors and their private property. You may want to contact the Gurnee Police Department to give them the heads up. Please call their non-emergency line: (847) 599-7000.
My roofing/fencing/solar panel installers are asking for a letter from the HOA granting permission for work, how can I get that?

My neighbors are throwing a loud party late at night; can’t the HOA do anything about this?
No, we only exist to manage common areas. Gurnee allows for such noise between the hours of 7:00am – 7:00 pm Mondays-Saturdays and 9:00am – 5:00pm on Sundays.
